St. Raphael Catholic Elementary School Dress Code
Girls : Boys : Shoes : PE : Outerwear : Jewerly
The St. Raphael Catholic School uniform identifies students as members of the St. Raphael Catholic School community. Therefore, standards need to be met and maintained. Appearance is under the judgment of the outside community and students are to maintain a neat appearance at all times when the uniform is being worn.
- The uniform is to be kept neat and clean.
- The uniform is to be free of rips or tears.
- The uniform is to fit properly.
- The uniform shirt is to be tucked in.
- Students not in correct uniform may be given a uniform violation form.
We recognize that it is a parent’s responsibility to see their children respect authority and rules of the community. We ask the parents to see that their child is dressed according to the uniform code of St. Raphael Catholic School. Parents’ cooperation will eliminate teachers using valuable learning time within the classroom reminding students’ of the uniform code.
Parents will be notified if a student’s dress and appearance is not in conformity with the uniform code. In case of repeated violations to the published code, the student will be excused from class and parents will be notified. The student will await a parent’s arrival at school to assist their child in meeting the established code before being readmitted to class.
Minimum Quantity Suggestions
One complete “dress uniform” combination for boys/girls is suggested. Otherwise, two complete “every day” and 2 complete “PE” uniforms are suggested. Remember: This is only a suggestion…if you wash laundry once a week, etc. your needs would be different.
All uniform apparel must be purchased from our approved uniform supplier. Currently, our contracted supplier is Educational Outfitters, 250 Nottingham Drive, Cary, NC 27511, and (919) 804-5437.
